Yes, if you are located outside of a 10 mile range from our New Orleans or Northshore offices a $1 per additional mile surcharge will apply.
Our clients are mostly cats and dogs but we also care for chickens, exotic birds, hamsters, rabbits, fish, gerbils, guinea pigs, frogs, lizards and farm animals. Don't see your pet listed? Contact us to discuss how we can accomodate your pets needs.

Yes. We highly recommend a meet and greet with you and your pet before pet care services can begin.We even offer virtual meet and greets via Zoom.
We require a Meet and Greet prior to the start of service so that our clients can meet their pet professional and introduce him/her to their pet(s). This meeting allows you to review all important information about your home and care routine with our sitter as well as gives you a chance to ask any questions that may arise.
We work as a team, if your designated pet professional cannot make it to the schedule visit we have a backup professional already assigned to you.
Yes, this is no problem at all. We are trained to give insulin, pills and other medications as well as care for senior or geriatic pets.

Yes, all employees are covered under the comapnies Liability and bonding insurance as well as worker's comp.
Insured means that we care liability insurance, which protects from financial loss should any accidents occur while we are caring for your pets. All Professional Business owners should carry liability insurance.
Dishonesty Bonding protects you and gives you peace of mind that you will be reimbursed if an employee should steal anything from your home. Any business owner with employees that enter into homes should have a dishonesty bond.

No, for your safety and the safety of your pets all visit requests and cancellations must be completed through our office. We use a high-tech scheduling app that allows us to make sure each pet in our care receives the same standard of care and that no pet gets left behind.
We have several options for you to choose from. We do require TWO (2) working keys or “modes of entry”.
Modes of entry can include:
You will receive an invoice to your email on file with us. All balances are due 3 business days prior to the start of services. We accept Checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and AMEX. If you have not made payment by 6 PM, 3 business days prior to your service start we will automatically charge your credit card on file. If you wish to pay by check, prior arrangements must be made with Courtney. Our employees are not allowed to collect payments at this time.
All monthly dog walking packages are automatically charged on the 25th of the month prior. If the 25th falls on a weekend, you will be charged the following business day.
Pet Sitting & Cat Care:
Overnights/House Sitting Visits:
** Early return home resulting in cancellation of additional walks/visits and/or overnights will NOT be credited.
** During Holiday periods, 100% payment is due to secure your reservation; Holiday reservation cancellations are non-refundable.
Exceptions to the cancellation fee are only in the event of a dog walk canceled due to inclement weather or for pet illness. In the event of pet illness proof of a veterinary note must be submitted. If Courtney's Pet Care Professionals shows up for duty and is turned away, you agree to compensate us for the full value of the visit.
Tipping is not necessary but if you wish to reward your pet professional for excellent service you may leave cash in an envelope with their name on it.
We prefer at least 48 hours but sometimes emergencies happen – our goal is to help you when you need it most, even at the last minute. This is the reason why we assign two pet professionals to you. Visits with 24 hours or less than notice will be subject to a $20 surcharge.
Yes, we operate 365 Days A Year. There is an $8 surcharge on New Years Day, Mardi Gras, Easter, Jazz Fest, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
Yes. We believe in rewarding our clients for sending referrals and because of that, our business is mostly referral-based.
