Our Quality Guarantee

At Courtney’s Pet Care Professionals, we take pride in the work that we do. Each of our sitters and walkers go through training and they are fully dedicated to taking care of your pets. Unfortunately, we are all human and plans may not always work out as we had hoped. We want to reassure you, our clients, that we are continually working to improve our systems and processes to ensure your pets are in the best of hands while under our care. That being said, we want to discuss a recent event that happened and let you know what steps we have taken to rectify the situation and to ensure that this will not happen moving forward.
We recently received our first negative review which was the result of a miscommunication with a client. The review, which can be found on Yelp, was from an upset client who accused us of not coming to walk his dogs. As shown by our GPS tracking, our sitter did come to the visit during the scheduled time frame, but due to outside circumstances, was afraid for her safety and did not stay to complete the walk. We did experience a small breakdown in communication when she tried to report her issue to our Office Manager, who was unavailable at that time. We immediately reached out to the owner once this issue was brought to our attention to apologize and discuss how we can make it right with him. However, he still chose to leave a negative review.
Every business must face this obstacle at one point or another, and we have chosen to use it as a learning experience and find ways that we can better serve our clients and ensure our service is the best in the New Orleans area. We believe in transparency and want to share with you our commitment to quality service. Here are a few things that you can count on from our team:
- Our app shows when we arrive and when we leave. You can also view the route we take when walking your dog. This gives you peace of mind to know that we were actually there when promised. The app allows our sitters to send photos and other updates in real-time. We can update you on the food they ate, if they drank water, and if they went potty during our visit or walk.
- We have retrained our walkers and sitters to know what to do if they are unable to complete a booking due to a personal emergency or other reason. They will know who to call first and will have a list of who to reach out to for assistance to ensure the booking is completed as scheduled. We have ensured that someone is “on-call” to help with any last-minute walks or check-ins if needed.
- We set a time window for when a visit will take place. This is usually a two-hour time frame, unless a client specifically requests a designated time. This could be between 11-1 for a midday walk, 4-6 for a late afternoon potty break, etc. This allows for any issues that may arise such as traffic or where the booking before yours may run long. We will be letting each client know of this time window, and each of our sitters knows to reach out if they are unable to meet this time constraint.
At Courtney’s Pet Care Professionals, we want to be your “go-to” for dog walking and pet sitting. As a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, we were chosen as the 2021 Business of the year. We could not have done that without our team and without our beloved clients. We strive to provide professional, competent, and loving service to you and your pets. Part of our commitment to you is to keep our sitters accountable and provide you with updates from your visit. If you ever feel that something isn’t quite right, or that your service did not meet your expectations, we strongly encourage you to reach out to us so that we can work on a solution together..
